Artist Info: Electric Party

Electric Party was a short-lived no wave / mutant disco / funk band based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The brainchild of René 'DJ Solo' van Rijn (vocals, synthesizers, drum machines), the group's line-up was completed by Ed 'Z' Zirkzee (saxophone) and Leo 'Low' Wernaert (bass, synthesizers). They released a demo cassette entitled Work in 1982 on the local Fetisj label. One 'Roland TR' is listed as the fourth band member, but he is a drum machine.
