Doubtful Sounds is a bookmark in the musical journey of Chris Familton, onetime bassist with 90's New Zealand guitar heroes Thorazine Shuffle and Fontanelle. As one of the founding members of Thorazine he rode the wave from the practice room to the stage to the recording studio. From there he hooked up with Mikey Havoc and other ex Thorazine members to form Fontanelle, creating a dynamic sound that culminated in their opening of the main stage at the '97 Big Day Out.
