Winnipeg, Manitoba has a large reputation in the world's music scene for producing some of Rock and Rolls most influential groups. In the sixties The Guess Who set a standard for Canadian rock with hits like "American Woman" and "These Eyes". In the seventies B.T.O. was "Takin’ Care of Business". The heavy eighties spawned waves of leather clad radio rock bands like Streetheart and Harlequin, then the nineties produced a more melodic sound with the success of the Crash Test Dummies and the Watchmen.
