DeathbyRomy (pronounced "death-by-row-me") is the stage name of American singer-songwriter, Romy Maxine Flores. Born and raised in Los Angeles, with a mixed heritage of half-Mexican on her father's side and half-European on her mother's side.

Flores adopted the moniker DeathbyRomy at the age of 15. Struggling with depression and instances of bullying, she soon dropped out of high school to pursue a career in music.
