Dead Cacti is the creative outlet of the former vocalist of influential Japanese underground metal 's@lted鬮cumバ；32' following their disbanding after releasing a single EP in the summer of 2007.

Although coming from a heavy metal background, Dead Cacti encompasses a lot of genres, including electro, orchestral, alternative and pretentious styles, as well as traditional rock.
