Dan writes, sings, plays bass and guitar and does production for his band Falls In The Forest since 2001. FITF has existed in several iterations and former members include: Jeff Weiner, bass, Ben Engel, drums and Colin MacFarlane, drums.

The band was formed in central New Jersey.

He graduated from Monmouth University with a degree in Music.
