Corcel Sin Nombre (born Mateo Cavill) is an American singer and songwriter currently based in Guadalajara, Mexico. Born to a mother who named him after her first boyfriend, Cavill spent his formative years drifting through the southern edges of Appalachia. His musical education took place primarily in small bars and dive establishments rather than traditional school settings, where he drew influence from the classic country and folk music found on local jukeboxes.
