Artist Info: Claire Guimond

Claire Guimond is a world leading baroque flautist, recognised first in Canada and now well established on the world scene.

She is a founding member and artistic director of the Arion Baroque Orchestra, one of the two leading Baroque Orchestras in the Americas.

Ms. Guimond has an extensive discography of over 30 recordings distributed internationally. As well as Arion, these feature harpsichordists Gary Cooper and Luc Beausejour, and cellist Jaap ter Linden. [read more...]
