Artist Info: Chero Michel

Rhythm and Blues has always been about dreams and reality. Chero Michel has seen them both. Chero’s dreams began as a young child in Florida when her musical family gave her the inspiration to perform, and she quickly joined her lineage and took her first music lessons while spending time with her cousin’s gospel choir. It was here that her dreams would blossom into a desire to communicate through art. As a teen in Milwaukee, Chero attended a performing arts high school where she studied theater, dance, and music.
