This is music from the Indian Ocean. It has been a witness to the history of the Creole’s soul. This music --with its stars, Marcelino Chaton, Babalé, Bruno Mooken, Roger and Marie Josée Clency,Jean-Claude Gaspar, Serge Lebrasse--explores the various sounds of an island (Mauritius) that is at the crossroads of various influences that force us to remember or suggest an identity.
