Smashing guitars, fluid bass lines and a wet drum kit. The guys of Captain Orthegon are all for water, boating, salty air and hard rock. Emotions play a major role in the music of this band. Captain Orthegon has a similar sound to bands such as Biffy Clyro and Nirvana, where their influences come from.
The band came together in the spring of 2010 in Amstelveen, when four guys felt like something else. No more simple punk-rock, or a normal pop song. This would be thoughtful, meaningful grunge. [read more...]
