Artist Info: Big Wally

Big Wally formed in 1996 in Launceston, Tasmania. The orginal lineup included Steven Quinn on bass, Adam Langridge on guitar and Cory Blight on drums/vocals. Scott Targett joined in 1998 on keyboards, and Luke Christie replaced Quinn on bass.

In 1998 Big Wally won the Australian National Campus Band Competition (the year after EskimoeJoe). They were the signed to independent label, Troy Horse Records, and released their first EP Wally Waltz/ Rubbing Your Face in 1999. [read more...]
