Artist Info: Bernard Noir

Bernard Noir is the solo personality of Justin Bernard Williams. Williams is a producer and improvisational composer/performer affiliated with Wooden Eye Recordings. Bernard Noir is an exploration of computer-based sequencing and composition of found and created sounds coupled with the boldly minimalist style of Williams's saxophone.

Williams grew up in central Oklahoma where he is/was a member of the improvisational quartet, Squeaky Burger, and the audacious drums, bass, and sax trio, The Clinical Mops. [read more...]
