Akayess is a 23 year-old bedroom producer from Wellington, New Zealand.

His music has been described as minimal, downtempo electronica, with strong emphasis on piano & string arrangements.Influences include Bluetech, Bonobo, OTT, and Little People.

Throughout 2013, Akayess has spent most of his time releasing tracks such as "Nino" and "Twenty Nine Nova" - which was to be released under the name NOVA EP.
