Being the only musicians at their neighborhood elementary school, Sean Reinert and Paul Masvidal first met in Miami, when they were 12 years old, and immediately started writing songs and rehearsing together in what would become an obsessive aural journey from classical to pop to metal to Jazz and back within a ten-year period.
